Ring of Honor: Survival of the Fittest 2009 2009

Survival of the Fittest 2009 was a professional wrestling event promoted by Ring of Honor. It took place on October 10, 2009 at the Indiana State Fairgrounds in Indianapolis, Indiana. This was the first Survival of the Fittest tournament since 2007, as the 2008 tournament was canceled a few weeks before taking place and never rescheduled. This was the first Survival of the Fittest tournament not to included Austin Aries, who, despite appearing on the event, was instead teaming with Davey Richards in a dream tag team match against the Briscoe Brothers. Aries was the only wrestler to compete in every Survival of the Fittest tournament up to that point, always making it the final match. Notable entrants in the tournament include winner of the 2005 tournament, Roderick Strong, winner of the 2006 tournament, Delirious, and winner of the 2007 tournament, Chris Hero.

TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs (2009) was the first annual TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs PPV. It took place on December 13, 2009 at the AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas. Each main match contained a stipulation utilizing tables, ladders and chairs as legal weapons. The primary matches included Christian challenging Shelton Benjamin in a Ladder match for the ECW Championship, Sheamus challenging John Cena in a Tables match for the WWE Championship, the reigning World Heavyweight Champion, The Undertaker, defending his title against Batista in a Chair match and the main event, where Chris Jericho and The Big Show defended against D-Generation X (Triple H and Shawn Michaels) in a Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match for the Unified WWE Tag Team Championship. Other matches in the card included John Morrison versus Drew McIntyre for the WWE Intercontinental Championship, Michelle McCool versus Mickie James for the WWE Women's Championship and Randy Orton versus Kofi Kingston.

Night of Champions (2009) was a PPV which took place on July 26, 2009 at the Wachovia Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It was the second annual event to be promoted solely under the Night of Champions name and the ninth annual event under the Vengeance/Night of Champions chronology. The main event matches featured were: Jeff Hardy versus CM Punk for the World Heavyweight Championship, Randy Orton defending the WWE Championship against Triple H and John Cena, Mickie James versus the WWE Divas Champ Maryse, and Dolph Ziggler challenging WWE Intercontinental Champion Rey Mysterio. Defying Gravity 2009

Defying Gravity is a multi-nationally produced space travel television science fiction drama series which first aired on August 2, 2009 on ABC and CTV and was canceled in the autumn of 2009. Set in the year 2052, the series follows eight astronauts from four countries on a six-year space mission through the Solar System, during which they are monitored from Earth via a real-time communication system. The series was pitched to networks as "Grey's Anatomy in space". Thirteen episodes of the series were produced before it was cancelled, only eight of which were shown on ABC, though the full run was shown in other countries or online.

Impact is a mini-series about a meteor shower which eventually sends the moon on a collision course with Earth. The two-part mini-series premiered February 14 and 15, 2009 on the Canadian premium television channel Super Channel and was also shown on ABC on June 21 and 28, 2009 and on Alpha TV on September 2011 .

The 2008 series of Norske Talenter was the first series of this television programme. It began airing on TV 2 February 13, 2008 with audition in Bergen, and the live final was held May 8, 2008. The winners this season, was the hip hop dance group Quick at the ages 17–18. Runner-up became 14-year old classical singer Lydia Hoen Tjore and 6-year old magician Brian Aksnes Hoseth finished in third place.

Talang Sverige 2011

Talang Sverige, formerly named Talang between 2007–2011, is the Swedish version of the Got Talent series show where singers, dancers, comedians, variety acts, and other performers compete against each other for audience support and the prize money. The show was broadcast for five seasons on TV4, between 2007–2011, before TV4 put the show on indefinite hiatus. Two years later, on June 19, 2013, TV3 announced that they had acquired the rights for the show and will re-launch the show in Spring 2014 under the name "Talang Sverige".
